DATA CENTER DESIGN

We operate in the development and implementation of Data Center projects, transforming technical guidelines into secure, efficient, and scalable critical infrastructure. Our scope covers everything from the development of Basic and Executive Designs, Retrofit Projects, and As-Built consolidation (static and dynamic with 3D visualization) to Project Management, Construction Management, Commissioning, and Owner’s Engineering.
We integrate multidisciplinary engineering, technical control, and executive monitoring to ensure that the Data Center is deployed or built with construction quality, cost predictability, adherence to industry best practices, and high operational reliability.
Our focus is to ensure that every phase, from technical detailing to the final delivery of the infrastructure, is aligned with the performance, resilience, and operational continuity requirements characteristic of mission-critical environments.

What it is: Basic Design is the stage that transforms the concept defined in the Masterplan (Conceptual Design) into a structured technical architecture, with clear definitions of systems, capacities, and redundancy strategies. While the Conceptual Design defines strategic guidelines, macro capacity, modularity, and expansion premises, the Basic Design advances the technical level, consolidating:

  • Electrical topology definition (e.g., N, N+1, 2N);

  • Mechanical architecture definition and cooling strategy;

  • Preliminary sizing of critical load and installed capacity;

  • Technical layout with functional distribution of environments;

  • Technical premises that allow for a more accurate CAPEX estimation.

The Basic Design reduces technical uncertainties and prepares the project for the executive detailing stage, ensuring consistency between concept, feasibility, and future implementation.

What it is: The Executive Design is the complete engineering detailing stage, providing all the technical documentation necessary for the construction of critical infrastructure. While the Basic Design defines the architecture and systems in a structured manner, the Executive Design deepens the level of detail for field execution, including:

  • Final technical sizing of cables, panels, boards, and equipment;

  • Complete single-line and three-line diagrams;

  • Detailed civil, structural, and architectural projects;

  • Technical specifications and descriptive reports for procurement;

  • Final multidisciplinary coordination for construction;

  • Documentation ready for execution and inspection.

The Executive Design eliminates technical ambiguities, reduces construction risks, and ensures that the Data Center is implemented exactly according to the engineering premises established in previous phases.

What it is: The technical restructuring of existing Data Centers for modernization, capacity increase, or energy efficiency improvement, including:

  • Electrical and mechanical systems updates;

  • Redundancy and resilience adjustments;

  • Layout and critical load density optimization;

  • Energy efficiency improvements (PUE/WUE/CUE);

  • Compliance with current standards and certifications.

Data Center Retrofit allows for the modernization of existing infrastructure, increasing reliability and preparing the asset for new capacity and technology demands.

What it is: Acting from the definition of the certification strategy to full technical support during the design, implementation, commissioning, and operation phases, aligning the project with major international standards such as Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ANSI, ISO, and ASHRAE. Our work reduces risks, optimizes investments, accelerates approval processes, and strengthens the asset’s positioning, ensuring greater commercial attractiveness, operational efficiency, and security for investors and operators.

What it is: The process of faithful updating and consolidation of all documents and projects according to what was effectively executed in the field. The As-Built serves as a reliable basis for operation, maintenance, audits, and future Data Center expansions.

What it is: An advanced documentation and management tool that transforms the Data Center into an interactive 3D model, with millimeter precision and functionalities that go beyond traditional records:

  • Interactive 3D model with automatic measurements in a virtual environment;

  • Asset tagging and operational metadata (As-Built, MOPs, SOPs, EMOPs, bayfaces, layouts);

  • Virtual tour with intuitive navigation, facilitating inspections and training;

  • Integration with external platforms (EOM, CMMS, BMS/EPMS, DCIM).

Versions by use case:

  • Sales: Immersive tour of Data Halls for clients and investors;

  • Operations: Access to technical areas, measurements, tags, and O&M procedures.

This resource ensures complete digital governance, supporting operations, maintenance, audits, and future expansion, while adding value to commercial presentations and stakeholder relationships.
